East Chicago, IN - For the third straight game, the Eagles were stone walls on the defensive side of the ball holding their opponent to zero goals. On Wednesday night, it was Calumet unable to break through as the Eagles were victorius 7-0 in their CCAC opener.
The Eagles are now 4-3-2 overall, and 1-0 in conference play. Judson controlled the pace from start to finish, out shooting Calumet 21-1 on the night.
JU got seven goals from seven different players.
In the first half, it was Wilondja Emena, Gabriel Uno, and Joaquin Landa finding the net.
After the break, it was Fernando Nkumah, Giulian Scorsolini, Cristobal Corral, and Nathanael Martinez adding on goals.
Judson will play host to St. Francis on Saturday in what figures to be a very physical contest. Should the Eagles come away on top, the schedule sets up nicely for a run at the CCAC crown.
