Eagles Defeat #18 Columbia (MO)

Elgin, IL - The Judson Eagles Men's Soccer team came away with an impressive 1-0 victory over NAIA #18 ranked Columbia (MO) on Wednesday afternoon. 

The win improves JU record to 5-6-1 on the season. It was the second strong showing in a row for the Eagles as over the weekend they beat a tough Viterbo team on the road, 6-2. 

The lone goal game in the first half in the 36th minute, when a georgous pass from senior captain Gabriel Trevisan set up Jason Mendez who found the back of the net. 

That lone goal stood the entire second half has defense was the name of the game. Gerardo Perez earns the shutout victory making four saves. 

The Eagles will jump back into conference play on Saturday as they travel to Olivet Nazarene.
