Rocha, Chavez, Trevisan Recognized by CCAC and NCCAA in Postseason Honor Roll
Elgin, Ill. The Judson University Men's Soccer Team had three athletes recognized by the CCAC and the NCCAA for their outstanding efforts this fall. Rafa Rocha was named to the first team for the CCAC and the NCCAA North Central Region, while Samuel Chavez and Gabriel Trevisan were first team NCCAA region and second team CCAC conference teams.
Rocha is tied for the team lead in points with 20. He finished with a .510 shot-on-goal percentage which is second on the team. Additionally, he finished with a game-winning goal and was the only player on the team to convert on a penalty kick this season.
Trevisan also is tied for first on the team with 20 points and is the team leader with eight total goals. He finished second on the team in game-winning goals with two. His .429 shot-on-goal percentage is among the team leaders. He also is tied for the team lead in games started with 17.
Chavez has had a breakout season for the Eagles as he currently has six goals and seven assists. His .556 shot-on-goal percentage leads the team, and he also finished with one game-winning goal. These numbers are even more significant as Chavez's natural position is defense.
Judson plays Trinity International for the NCCAA Regional Title game tomorrow at Dawson Field beginning at 2:00 p.m.
