Wainstein Earns CCAC Offensive Player of the Week for His Efforts This Past Weekend

Chicago, IL Judson University's Martin Wainstein is being recognized for his impressive week as he has been named the CCAC offensive player of the week.
Wainstein claimed the top offensive accolades after scoring in each of Judson's two victories last week. The senior midfielder authored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 road decision over the University of St. Francis on Tuesday before celebrating Senior Day with two goals and an assist in a 3-0 victory over Saint Xavier University on Saturday. Judson's 2-0 week enabled the Eagles to finish 7-2-3 in conference play (fifth place). They are 8-5-4 overall heading into the CCAC Tournament.
"This year with Martin, we have had to sacrifice and put him in a position that he was not so used to, and this week shows how much effort and patience he has given to it," said Interim Coach Daniel Isaza."I am very happy that receives this award approaching the conference playoffs because he deserves it."
Judson is the #5 seed in the CCAC tournament and will play Holy Cross on Friday at 2:00 PM CT at in Notre Dame, Indiana.
