Trevisan Earns NCCAA and CCAC Offensive Player of the Week Honors
Elgin, IL Judson University's Gabriel Trevisan has earned both the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Men's Soccer Player of the Week and the NCAAA Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Trevisan totaled three goals and one assist in a pair of wins for the Eagles during the week of Oct. 10-16. The junior midfielder posted one goal and an assist in a 5-0 decision over Calumet College of St. Joseph on Tuesday. He then delivered both goals in a 2-0 shutout of St. Ambrose University on Saturday. The two wins helped Judson move into a three-way tie for third place in the league standings with its 5-1-3 conference mark. Overall, the Eagles are 5-4-4.
"We always have great expectations for Trevisan on each game," said Head Coach Rafa Heck. "However, his position on the field most of the time does not allow him to get the accolades he deserves sometimes. This was definitely a great week for him, and he has helped his team tremendously being decisive on both wins specially against St. Ambrose."
Judson faces Waldorf on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson Field in Elgin.
