Davenport, IA The Judson Men's Soccer Team fought well and hard for their afternoon win against St. Ambrose. The Eagles increased their winning streak to five against CCAC teams.
The match was at a standstill until Eales was able to put a ball into the back of the net of their opponent in the 39th minute of play. Gabriel Trevisan recorded this goal off a pass from Rafael Rocha. Looking for another in the first half, the Eagles stayed aggressive in their chances bringing the first half to an end. The second half of the match was difficult one as the Eagles were given two yellow cards for their fouls but Ambrose also 3 yellow cards placing the team at greater risk for punishment. A pass from Samuel Chavez in the 71st minute lined the ball up perfectly for Trevisan to record his second goal on the day, finishing the match 2-0.
From the beginning of the match, the Eagles defense held strong as they only allowed one shot on goal in comparison to Judson's 14 shots on goal. Mateo Ojesto was in goal and his efforts allowed for another clean sheet.
