McKay Wins At Joliet Invite
Morris, IL - The Eagles Men's team had another event on Tuesday afternoon at the Joliet Junior College Invite. The event was held at the Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris, Illinois. The course plays at a Par 71, and 6,503 yard course. This was a one day, one round event.
The Eagles played well as a team tying for second place in the 11 team field. As a team, they finished six shots back of the team winner, College of DuPage.
Individually, Judson has five players compete. Freshmen Noah McKay was the individual champion. McKay hails from Clovis, NM.
McKay is playing well as of late following up a t-3 finish with this victory. McKay shot an even round 71 for the win, one shot ahead of second place. He had four birdies, and 10 pars on the round.
Salvador Paravicini finished t-12 with a score of 78, and Bradin Amelio finished t-14 with a score of 79 on the day.
Other golfers were Parker Dallman at 29th, and Joey Plascencia at t-40. There were 66 total golfers in the field today.
Judson's final scheduled event is the CCAC Championships next week.
