Men's Golf Takes 1st Place, Haakenson 3rd Place in Women's Individual at Judson Invite

Algonquin, Ill. The Judson University Golf Teams hosted their first of two invites in a week's time as the Men's team finished in first place by three strokes, while the women played as individual players.

Grace Haakenson led the Lady Eagles with an 84, which was good enough for a third-place finish. Lynsie Pietrzak (90) and Lauren Semerau (91) had top-10 finishes for Judson with sixth and seventh place overall finishes.

The men were led by Patrick Owens, as he finished second overall with an 82, two strokes behind the top finisher. RJ McCoy (83) and Blake Foster (85) had third and fifth-place finishes. Ethan Suits (86) and Robert Carr (89) also had top-10 overall finishes for the Eagles.

Judson will host their second invite on Monday (Men) and Tuesday (Women) at Randall Oaks Golf Club in West Dundee, Illinois.
