Bio

Biondo is the second Head Bowling Coach in program history. He was the Head Women's Bowling Coach at Western Illinois University from 1992-1993. He since has coached the North End Travel Bowling Team and has given bowling lessons in Island Lake, Illinois. He is a United States Bowling Congress Certified Coach.

 

Biondo describes himself as a "[p]assionate Christian who has been part of the bowling community for over 30 years seeking to help and improve the lives of young individuals on and off the bowling lanes."

 

As a bowler, Biondo was a member of Team USA Bowling from 1991-1993, where he won numerous medals including being a two-time Gold Medalist at the 1991 US Olympic Festival in Los Angeles. He also won the Bowling Writers' Association Amateur Bowler of the Year in 1992 and 1993. He bowled collegiately at Western Illinois, where he was a four-time All-Conference Bowler from 1988-1992.

 

He is a member of four bowling Hall of Fames including the Macomb Bowling Association (1993), the Suburban Windy City Bowling Association (2007), the Chicago Bowling Association (2017), and the Illinois Bowling Association (2017).
