Eagles Bring Home Top 5 Finish
On the Men's JV1 side, we came away with an 6th place finish. Led by Sophomore Caleb Vergona who had his best performance as an Eagle in taking 3rd place individually and making his first All-Tournament Team of his career! Caleb posted games of 205, 234, 197, 225, and 266 to finish with a 225.4 average he was also 89% on single pins and struck 51% of the time on the weekend. Caleb's future is bright as he continues to impress both on and off the lanes.
Freshman standout Noah Moreno also continues to be steady as he was perfect on single pins going 14 for 14 for 100% and averaged 190.4 on the weekend. Junior Griffin Roake averaged 188 and struck 43% of the time on the weekend. Junior Parker Morris was 79% on single pins and Freshman Toby Wamsley was 82% on single pins and struck 43% of the time on the weekend.
On the Men's JV2 side, we came away with a top 10th place finish. In his last performance as an Eagle senior Matthew Sipes had one of his best performances of his collegiate Bowling Career. Matt averaged 194.4 with games of 180, 246, 215, 182, and 149. Matt has the heart of a Lion and has shown that throughout his 4 year career with Judson.
Freshman Matthew Camacho averaged 190.6 on the weekend and was 73% on single pins. Senior Cameron Jablonski was 80% on single pins and 65% on multipins on the weekend. Junior Connor Richmond averaged 175 and was 81% on single pins, and Junior Adan Cabezudo struck 35% of the time on the weekend
Next up for the Varsity Squads is the final regular season event at the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, IN on February 15-16.
