Eagles Claim Third Place At Storm Baker
Addison, IL - The Eagles competed in their first event of the new calendar year at the Storm Baker.
On the Men's Varsity side, we came away with a 3rd place finish.
This team was able to make their first match play of the season qualifying 3rd. We faced off against Calumet College but lost in the bracket 3-1 to finish 3rd. Led by Senior Sebastian Beth who had a perfecto on single pins going 20/20! Freshman standout Woodley Dangerfield was 92% on single pins, Junior Eric Roberts was 84% on single pins, Junior Phil Heuser was 82% on single pins, Senior James Kontos was 82% on single pins, and Grad Student Jason Claus was 63% on multipins for the weekend.
On the Men's JV1 side, we came away with an 3rd place finish. Led by Freshman Noah Moreno who was a fantastic 91% on single pins and 72% on multipins on the weekend. Junior Griffin Roake was 90.5% on single pins and 65% on multipins.
Sophomore standout Caleb Vergona was 90.5% on single pins, Junior Parker Morris led all players on all team with a 46% strike percentage on the weekend and Freshman Toby Wamsley struck 40% of the time on the weekend
On the Men's JV2 side, we came away with a top 5th place finish. Led by Sophomore Adan Cabezudo who was 82% on single pins and 60% on multipins on the weekend. Senior Cameron Jablonski had a solid weekend with 74% on single pins and stuck 42% of the time.
Senior Matthew Sipes had a solid weekend with a 79% single pin percentage and struck 33% of the time. Junior Connor Richmond struck 44% of the time, Freshman Matthew Camacho struck 44% of the time on the weekend
This coming weekend is Kegel Championship Tier 1 event in Addison, IL
