Eagles Battle Back For Top 25 Finish
Wauwatosa, WI - This past weekend the Judson Eagles had another strong showing as we competed at the Midwest Collegiate Classic in Wauwatosa, WI.
On the Men's side of things, they were able to have a top 25 finish after a rough day 1 of competition. Junior standout Sebastian Beth had a fantastic performance in which he averaged 218.5 on Saturday as well as a 90% fill percentage on day 1 and a 55% strike percentage for the tournament!
Sophomore Phil Heuser who struggled day 1 went one of the best (if not the best) runs in Judson History in which he struck 28 of 32 shots on Sunday for an 87.5% strike percentage. During that streak he also threw 14 straight strikes and hit the pocket 30 or 32 times!
Junior Standout Jimmy Kontos continued to be solid with a 194 average and 47% strike percentage overall on the weekend. Sophomore transfer Eric Roberts has fit right in with the team and is starting to hit his stride as he was 89% overall on single pins and averaged 194 for the weekend. Senior Tom Antonson was solid on single pins going 13/14 on the weekend for 92%. Freshman Standout Caleb Parent also continues his solid spare shooting as he went 10/11 on single pins for 90.9%.
Other contributors were Sophomore Griffin Roake with a 70% fill percentage and Brenden Jones who averaged 170.
The Eagle now head to Indianapolis this weekend to compete in the Western Open.
