Bio

Bruce Fields enters his fourth season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Judson University after serving as an assistant coach for the previous two seasons. He comes to Judson with plenty of coaching and playing experience in the sport of basketball. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at Trinity International University during the 2017-2018 season. During the 2016-2017 season, he served as an assistant coach at Olive Harvey College.

Fields led Judson to its best season in a decade as the Eagles had a 15-15 regular-season record and hosted the NCCAA North Central Region Championship contest. 

He played collegiately at NCAA Division-I Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina from 1998-2002 where he accumulated over 1,000 points, 750 rebounds, and 250 assists for the Bulldogs.

Fields graduated from Gardner-Webb in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration. In 2020, Fields earned his Master's in Organizational Leadership from Judson University.

Between 2002 and 2011, Fields played professionally all across Europe, playing in countries including Denmark, Switzerland, France and Austria. Fields has also coached at various basketball development camps including the Tom Crean Basketball Camp at Indiana University and the Brandon Miller Basketball Camp hosted by Butler University. In 2009, Fields' team won the Austrian League National Championship.

Fields was inducted into his High School Athletic Hall of Fame at Mooresville, High School in Mooresville, Indiana in 2013. He resides with his wife, Elizabeth, in Chicago, Illinois.
