Ann Arbor, MI - The Eagles traveled up to Michigan for one of their two out of state trips, and unfortunately the trip back will feel extra long. JU fell to Concordia University 54-0, and dropped the Eagles record to 0-2 on the season.
Freshman Jaedon Hubbard (Wylie, TX) received his first start at quarterback and threw for 124 yards.
Junior running back Brandon Mackie tallied 122 yards on the ground for JU, but the Eagles were unable to find paydirt.
On the outside, freshman wideout Anthony Cathcart had another stellar game with nine catches, good for 84 yards.
For the defense, Bryce Heerey (Janesville, WI) had eight tackles, EJ Glover (Atlanta, GA) had seven tackles, and Malik Rowe (Brooklyn, NY) added a sack.
Next week, the Eagles will be back at home to take on Siena Heights. The game will be played at Streamwood High School with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 pm.
