Mackey Becomes Second Eagle To Earn NAIA All-American Honors in Program History
Kansas City, MO The Judson University Football Program has its second NAIA All-American recognition in its two seasons as running back Brandon Mackey has been recognized for his incredible efforts this season.
The sophomore running back turned heads this season as he broke numerous rushing records for the Eagles as the running attack became the focal point of the offense. Mackey finished third in the NAIA with 143.9 yards per game, sixth in the nation with 1295 yards, and was top-15 in the nation with 13 total touchdowns. His 1532 all-purpose yards are sixth in the nation as well. He also holds the 13th-longest run in the nation this season at 75 yards.
Mackey becomes the second Eagle to be honored on the honorable mention team as wide receiver O'Vauntay Vickers earned the identical award last season.
