Vickers Named Judson's First-Ever NCCAA All-American
Greenville, SC. Judson's star-wideout O'Vauntay Vickers is receiving well-deserved national attention by being named an NCCAA First-Team All-American. Vickers is the first player in program history to earn this designation.
Vickers was only one of 14 receivers in the nation to post at least 1,000 yards receiving (1,103) and is only one of 11 receivers to average over 100 yards receiving per contest (100.3). Additionally, Vickers had averaged 14 yards per reception and had seven touchdowns.
"I couldn't be more excited for VTay!" said Head Coach Dan Paplaczyk! "He's one of only a small group that has been here since the program was started 3 years ago. He stuck through the frustrations with COVID last year, but he never stopped working on his craft. This recognition is a testament to the hard work that he has put in when absolutely no one was watching!"
The Judson Athletic Department congratulates Vickers on this outstanding accomplishment!
