Lake Wales, FL The Judson University Baseball Team played a twin bill on Tuesday against Warner. Judson fell in both contests 7-3 and 3-0.
In the opener, Judson scored all three runs in the third inning. Alec MacLennan homered, followed by an RBI from Josh Goliberzuc. Goliberzuc later scored on a throwing error to give Judson a brief 3-2 lead.
Jake Bianco got the start for Judson as he allowed four earned runs (five total) on six hits while walking two and striking out one. Zach Rojas pitched two shutout innings striking out three and allowing only one hit.
In the night-cap, Judson's only two hits came from the top of the order as Ben Nelson recorded a single, while Jordan Babcock had a two-bagger. Matthew Johnston nearly recorded a quality start as he allowed three earned runs on six hits while striking out seven and walking two in 5.1 innings of work. Jason Klemm struck out two in a scoreless outing.
Judson (0-6) is off now until Friday when they face Fort Lauderdale.
