TOM KIMBLE '71
Judson's 1970-71 Male Athlete of the Year, Kimble participated in four different sports in his four-year career at Judson. Kimble is one of the pioneers of the Judson athletic department as he helped lay the foundation for the successful teams that exist today. He played two years of men's basketball, one year of cross country, three years of men's soccer and three years of baseball. In soccer he earned NIIC All-Conference as a junior and finished his career with 23 goals scored and 10 assists. A strong pitcher for the Eagles, Kimble had a career 4.17 ERA which ranks ninth best in the career charts. He recorded 119 career strikeouts which still ranks fifth all-time. He had his best year as a junior when he led the team with a 2.63 ERA. He served as a team co-captain as a sophomore. In the 1970-71 school year, in addition to being a student athlete, he was also the Sports Information Director. He continued this role after graduation during the 1973-74 school year.
