Sara (Brendenmuehl) Luck
Another women's basketball player, Luck (23) had a stellar four-year career as a Lady Eagle both on the court and in the classroom from 2003-2007. She is one of only a few athletes in Judson history to be named both the Athlete of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She accomplished this as a senior after one of the most notable individual seasons in program history that also earned her Team Most Valuable Player and NAIA All-American Honorable Mention. She averaged a team-best 16.9 points per game which is the sixth-best mark for a single season in program history. Her 489 points scored that season ranks seventh-best for a single season. She shot an impressive 80 percent from the free-throw line with 140 free throws made which is the program's record for a single season. During both her junior and senior years she was named an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete, an NCCAA All-Region selection, and a CCAC First Team All-Conference. As a senior, she was also an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She was a part of two teams that made appearances at the NAIA National Tournament, including a Sweet 16 finish in 2004-05. She finished her stellar career with 1,102 career points, the 11th highest total for the program. She finished with 129 career three-point field goals and a 74.7 career free throw percentage, both ranking fifth-best all-time. She ranks sixth with 257 career free throws made.
