SAKIS BROWN '93
He played just two seasons on the Judson men's soccer team but Brown left his mark as one of the best defensive players in the program's history on some of the best teams including the 1991 NCCAA National Championship team. A transfer from Houston, Texas, Brown came in as a junior and immediately picked up almost every honor imaginable. The team's Most Valuable Player was named a NAIA Honorable Mention All-American and the NIIC Co-Player of the Year along with recognition on the NAIA All-Area team, the NAIA All-District Team and the NCCAA All-District team. As a senior he was the team's Best Defensive Player and earned NAIA Third Team All-American honors and NCCAA Second Team All-American honors. He was also a repeat selection to the NAIA All-Area and All-District Teams as well as the NCCAA All-District and NIIC All-Conference teams. At the national tournament he was named the NCCAA National All-Tournament team. He scored 19 goals and dished out 15 assists in his two seasons as an Eagle.
