Karen Swanson
Karen Swanson was the head coach of the best five-year run in Women's Volleyball program history. She led the Eagles to three NAIA Great Lakes Sectional Championships and three NCCAA National Tournament Appearances, finishing in the top five teams nationally each season. Swanson coached four Judson Hall of Fame members during her tenure. Susan Boeskool Miller is one of the best setters in program history, holding numerous program records in assists and games played. She also is a member of the 1,000 digs club with 1,119. Jennifer Salazar was a 1993 NCCAA All-Tournament Team member, an NAIA District Rookie of the Year winner, and served as the team captain. Salazar coached the Eagles herself from 1997-2002 where she tied Swanson's career wins total with 111 and was a three-time CCAC coach of the year. Jennifer Tynis Alderson accrued over 1,000 kills (1,213) and digs (1,650). She was an all-conference player with multiple NAIA and NCCAA regional team selections. She also coached the Eagles from 2003-2006. Nicole Wagner Skrzypchak was an NCCAA All-Region player for the Eagles and had a program-record .358 career hitting percentage. She also was the 1996-1997 Judson Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Swanson holds the best winning percentage in program history at (.541) and is tied for the most wins in program history (111).
