JENNIFER (TYNIS) ALDERSON '96
The first-ever volleyball player to be inducted into the Judson Hall of Fame, Alderson was a stellar four-year outside hitter for the volleyball program from 1992-1995. She ranks third all-time with both her 1,213 career kills and 3,500 total attempts. She ranks second with 1,650 career digs and sixth all-time with 136 service aces. She played in 494 games which ranks second all-time. As a sophomore Alderson was named to the NCCAA All-District team and repeated that honor as a senior. In her junior season she was a team co-captain and was named to the NAIA All-Sectional team. As a senior she was once again a NAIA All-Sectional selection and was also honored on the NIIC All-Conference team. As a senior she was team's Most Valuable Player after leading her team in kills, total attempts, hitting percentage, service aces and digs. Following her time as a student-athlete, Alderson worked as an admissions counselor for Judson for four years. She recently coached the Judson volleyball team for four years (2003-06) and recorded a winning record in three of her four seasons.
