HERSHELL GOSSETT '90

A teammate of Anderson's on the 1985-89 men's basketball teams, Gossett is one of only five Judson men's basketball players to have 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in a career. He scored 1,664 points and grabbed 1,114 rebounds, ranking him third all-time in both categories. He was a NIIC All-Conference selection as a freshman and was named to the NCCAA All-District team all four years and the NAIA Honorable Mention All-District team twice. He was a two-time team Most Valuable Player and a team co-captain as a senior. He ranks in the top-10 in a career with 702 field goals, 1,415 field goal attempts, 260 free throws made and 366 free throws attempted. He led his team with 332 rebounds as a junior, the ninth best mark for a single season.
