ELLIOTT ANDERSON '89
Playing from 1985-89, Anderson was a four-year player for both the Judson men's basketball and baseball teams. A stellar point guard for the Eagles, Anderson totaled 808 assists and 312 steals in his career, both records for the program. He led his team in assists three times, including 302 as a junior, a single-season record. He also holds the third and fourth highest single-season totals. A great defensive player, Anderson set a new single-season record with 105 steals as a junior breaking his record of 81 he set as a sophomore. He nearly broke the record again when he had 93 steals as a senior. On the baseball diamond Anderson excelled on the base path consistently leading his teams in steals. He also led his team in RBI as a junior and a senior, while setting a single game individual record with 10 RBI in a game. Anderson was an influential leader on all the teams he played on, serving as team co-captain nearly every year. He was also team MVP twice for basketball and once for baseball. In the 1987-88 season, he was named to the NCCAA All-District team. After his time as a student athlete, Anderson went on to play many other roles on the Judson campus. He spent six years as the Resident Director of Wilson Hall (1992-98) and then was the Vice President of Student Development for six years (1998-2004) overseeing athletics while in that role. He also coached the Judson men's basketball team for two and a half years (1998-2001) and the baseball team for three years (1998-2000).
