In his final three years, he led the team in scoring averaging 18.1 points (sophomore), 15.1 points (junior), and 18.3 points (senior) per game. It was his sophomore year that he gained the most recognition for his play being named to the NCCAA All-District and NCCAA All-American team. The two-time team MVP then recorded his 1,000th career point in his senior year and was the Judson Male Athlete of the Year. He played in 102 games and had 227 assists and 543 rebounds.
He only played one year of men's soccer as a goal keeper under Steve Burke in 1998 but it was a memorable one. Burdett was named NCCAA All-Region and NCCAA All-American while helping Judson to a second place finish at the NCCAA National Tournament. His team also won the NCCAA Regional Tournament.
