Adams Wins Triple Jump At CCAC Meet

Joliet, IL - In the CCAC Conference Outdoor Championships, the Eagles were able to get a first place finish in the triple jump event. Aayla-Marie Adams, the super sophomore won the event with a mark of 11.50m. That mark is now also number one in the school record book. 

Aayla also placed forth in the long jump event with a mark of 5.31m. With her top performances, she was named a Conference All-Conference member. 

Caleya Holmes was also named as an All-Conference member. She finished sixth in the 200m event with a time of 25.64. In the 400m event, she placed second, narrowly missing the win with a time of 58.63. She now owns the benchmark for the school in the event. Holmes is another freshmen doing great things for the Eagles. 

Adams, Holmes, and Nayla Thornton were all NCCAA qualifiers on the women's side.
