Eagles Pitch Second Straight Shutout

Elgin, IL - On a day that started off with suny skies, finished with blustery wind. But it did not stop the Eagles. For their second straight game, JU came away with a shutout victory. This time it was 3-0 over Indiana Northwest. Judson with two games left sit at 5-6-3, and 4-3-2 in conference play. 

All of the scoring was done in the first half. Josett Perez netted two goal bringing her season total to six. With the two goals, Perez takes over the team lead. 

The third tally was by Denise Jimenez, her first of the season. 

In goal, Eva Fernandez was solid again. She earned her second clean sheet of the week, and third of the season. In this contest, she made nine saves. 

The Eagles have two games remaining on the season, with senior day being next Saturday, October 28th at Dawson Field.
