Grace Kidwell, Team Claim First Place At Xavier Invite

Morris, IL - The Eagles Women's Golf team came out on fire in their first meet of the spring season. There was also a bit of history in the process made by Head Coach John Wedell's team. 

This was the first time that every player was under a score of 90 in the same round. "It was a total team effort, and it was great to see each girl play really well," said Wedell. 

The Eagles claimed first place in the team standings by shooting a team score of 337. That was two shots better then St. Ambrose to get the win. 

Grace Kidwell shot a 79 to win the individual crown. Including the fall, this is Kidwell's second individual win this season. 

Emma Walberg shot an 85, good for 8th place, and Izabella Cleaveland shot an 86 to finish in 9th.
