Eagles Take First Place

Frankfort, IL - The Eagles Women's Golf team competed in the 2023 Governors State Fall Tune Up Event on September 13th, and came away with some hardware! 

The Eagles team took home the top prize after shooting a team score of 361, winning by an impressive 31 shots. 

Leading the way was sophomore Grace Kidwell (Terre Haute, IN) as she was the winner with the lowest individual score carding an 87. 

All five members of the Judson squad finished in the top 10. 

Grace Kidwell - 87 - 1st place. 

Emma Walberg - 89 - Tied 2nd place. 

Lauren Semerau - 89 - Tied 2nd place. 

Hannah Ogden - 96 - Tied 7th place. 

Izzabella Cleaveland - 97 - Tied 9th place. 

The event took place at the Green Gardens Country Club in Frankfort, IL. It was the blue course sitting at 5900 yards, and a par 72. Coach John Wedell was very pleased with the way the team played, and was proud to bring home the first trophy of 2023. The Eagles were making the birdies drop from all over.
