Women Finish In Second Place, Foster Places Top 15 for Men in Judson Invite

West Dundee, IL.     The Judson University Men's and Women's Golf Teams hosted their 2023 Spring Invites this week. The Women placed in second, while the men finished in 13th. 


For the women, Grace Kidwell led the way with an 87 (+16) to place tied for sixth overall. Lauren Semerau's 88 allowed her to finish tied for eighth. Hannah Ogden finished one stroke behind Semerau with an 89. Emma Walberg had a top-20 finish with a 93-stroke finish. Izzabella Cleaveland shot a 97 to finish tied for 24th. Sara Mohr (122) and Sydney Novak (108) were individual performers for Judson. 

 

For the men, Blake Foster finished tied for 14th with a 77 (+6) which was five shots off first-place pace. Patrick Owens shot an 86 to finish tied for 62nd. RJ McCoy shot an 89 to place in the top 75. Alex Sippy was a stroke above his predecessor with a 90. Bodi Bralich shot a 93 to finish 89th. Josh Werges participated as an individual to place 97th. 

 

Judson's women's team next participates in the CCAC Tournament in Silvis, Illinois, while the Men head to Milwaukee for the Wisconsin Lutheran Invite
