Strong Start Not Enough For Eagles

Elgin, IL - In a midweek non-conference matchup against Bethel, the Eagles started out strong leading after the first quarter 16-12. But, ultimately, JU was not able to withstand the Pilot rally in the second quarter. Coming out after halftime, Judson did close the gap to get within six points, but again, Bethel charged hard in the closing quarter for the victory.

The Eagles did get a solid effort from Madison Carlson who led the team off of the bench with 12 points. Allyssa Potter and Easton Kimball also added double digit points with 10 each.

The difference in the game was Bethel's points off turnover edge 35-11.

On Saturday, the Eagles will travel out to Davenport to take on St. Ambrose.
