Four Eagles Recognized on Senior Day as Judson falls to Cardinal Stritch 55-54

Elgin, IL        The Judson University Women's Basketball Team celebrated senior day against CCAC foe Cardinal Stritch. Judson was in a thrilling contest for the entire contest, but eventually fell to Cardinal Stritch 55-54. Audrey Quintana gave the Eagles the lead with 10 seconds left on a clutch three-pointer from the left wing. The following possession by the Wolves resulted in a field goal that stood as the game-winner. 

 

Sydnie Wolf, Carly Scheblo, Addie Ringel, and Ta'Mia Banks for their contribution on and off the court. Wolf reached the 1,000-point plateau as an Eagle with her first bucket against Governors State last Saturday. In 2021-22, Wolf had career highs in points with 300 and minutes with 1029. Sheblo scored her 1000th collegiate point against Governors State as well. She finished team with 338 points scored this season to lead the team. Ringel has appeared in a whopping 137 total games between her time at McHenry County College and Judson. This season, Ringel played in 28 games this season for Judson, which is the most she's played in with the Eagles. Banks reached the 1,000-point mark during the 2021 season at Governors State, and, along with Wolf, was a member of the 2019 NCCAA National Tournament Team. 

 

In the game, Quintana led the team in scoring while achieving a double-double with 18 points in combination with 11 rebounds. She also recorded two assists and one steal. Wolf finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and a block. Easton Kimball increases her streak of double-doubles to four games in a row by scoring ten points with 13 rebounds. Kimball also added a block to the stat sheet. Scheblo finished the game with a total of nine points, five assists, four rebounds, and an assist. Ringel scored three points for the Eagles in addition to two rebounds, one block, and one steal.

Judson has finished their regular season with a record of 6-22 overall and 5-15 in the conference. Judson Athletics thanks the seniors for their contributions to the program, and we look forward to seeing what is in store in the future.
