Wolf and Scheblo Both Reach 1000 Career Points Milestone in 56-47 Victory Against Governors State

Elgin, IL     Judson Women's Basketball team turned on the jets in the second half to take down Governors State 56-47 in the penultimate home contest of the season. 

 

Seniors Sydnie Wolf and Carly Scheblo entered the contest within striking distance of 1,000 career points. Wolf needed two points to reach the milestone and achieved it with 2:29 remaining in the first quarter on a jump shot from the right-wing corner. Scheblo needed eight points and achieved her 1,000th collegiate point mark with 3:44 remaining in the third quarter after hitting on the back end of two free throws. 

 

Wolf finished with a total of six points, three rebounds, and one assist. Scheblo's final line included 13 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

 

Audrey Quintana led the Eagles in scoring with 20 points and also racked up six rebounds and two steals. Easton Kimball finished the game with back-to-back double-doubles scoring 13 points in addition to ten rebounds, two blocks, and one assist. Sydney Novak had a solid all-around game with two points, ten rebounds, two steals, and one assist. Addie Ringel scored two points, two rebounds, and a block off the bench. Jocelyn Mitchell also helped the Judson bench with four rebounds and one assist to the stat sheet.

 

Judson plays their last road game of the season on Wednesday at Trinity Christian.
