Women's Basketball Uses Strong Second Quarter to Pull Away from TIU 61-45

Deerfield, Ill.    The Judson University Women's Basketball Team used a strong second quarter to earn a convincing conference win on Saturday 61-45 over TIU. Judson outscored TIU 15- in the second quarter and 18-12 in the fourth quarter to pull away. 

 

Audrey Quintana and Syndey Novak co-led the Eagles in scoring with 13 points apiece. Quintana had 13 points, four rebounds, three assists. Novak had a double-double with 10 rebounds, three steals, two blocks, and two assists. Sydnie Wolf scored 10 points and added eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Wolf lead all Eagles in three-point baskets as she was 2-4 from behind the arc. Addie Ringel scored 11 points and also contributed with eight rebounds, one steal, and one block. Carly Scheblo played her first game at TIU since transferring from the school as she scored four points and added four rebounds with three assists. Easton Kimball had 13 rebounds along with six points and three assists. 

 

Judson (4-15, 3-8 CCAC) faces St. Francis at home on January 21 at 1:00 p.m.
