Women's Basketball Drops Road Matchup Against Holy Cross 76-41

St. Joseph County, IN     In the first game of the new year for the Judson Women's Basketball Team, they were on the road to take on Holy Cross. Looking to increase their conference record, the Eagles scored the first field goal of the game and continued to battle for points. Judson finished the game with a loss 76-41.

In her 34 minutes on the court, Audrey Quintana added 11 points to the Eagles final score leading the team offensively. Quintana went 1-1 from the line and also put up several threes in the match in addition to her 3 rebounds. Easton Kimball contributed double-digit points as well finishing with 10. She was able to stay aggressive on the offensive and the defensive end recording 5 defensive and 1 offensive rebound. Playing the most minutes for the Eagles was Carly Scheblo as she filled the stat sheet with a combination of points, assists, and steals. Scheblo finished with 7 points and 7 rebounds in addition to 3 assists and a pair of steals. Sydnie Wolf scored an equal amount of points finishing with 7 while racking up 3 rebounds and an assist. Three players finished with 2 points respectively which were Sydney Novak, Madison Carlson, and Haven Beyer.

Judson moves to 2-7 in the CCAC as they face IU Northwest on Saturday for their first home game of the semester.
