Eagles Fall to Spring Arbor 85-61 in Scheblo's "Homecoming" Game

Spring Arbor, MI     The Judson University Eagles faced Spring Arbor in non-conference competition on Wednesday as the Cougars outlasted Judson 85-61. Carly Scheblo had a significant fan base come out to support her this evening as her hometown Charlotte, Michigan is only 35 miles away from Spring Arbor. 

 

The Eagles hung in tough early on as the Eagles held a tie score within the first five minutes of the game. Judson made a late first-quarter run to pull within two after one quarter. Judson was outscored in the second and third quarter by eight and nine points respectively which allows Spring Arbor to pull away. 

 

Scheblo led the way, inspired by her hometown fans, as she scored 15 points on 6-14 shooting and making 3-4 free throws. In addition, she had seven assists and a rebound in the contest as well. Easton Kimball put in 13 points and added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Audrey Quintana had a pair of made three-pointers en route to a 12-point night and she added two steals as well. Sydnie Wolf scored 10 point and added a rebound in the loss as well. 

 

Judson (3-8) faces Indiana-South Bend on Saturday in South Bend, Indiana.
