A Late Comeback From Judson Ends in First Home Victory of the Season

Elgin, IL     The Judson Women's Basketball Team faced off against St. Ambrose for their season's first home match. Starting out slow, the Eagles never fell larger than a 10-point difference throughout the game. Trailing in the fourth quarter the Eagles were able to go on a 9-3 run tying the game and pulling forward to finish 66-61.

Senior Carly Sscheblo led the offense as she finished the game with 27 points which is a season-high thus far. She also contributed 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 rebounds. Her ability to convert from the free throw line was a key factor in the Eagles Victory. Following her was Audrey Quintana who finished with 17 points, 3 steals, 3 assists, and two rebounds. East Kimball was able to grab herself 1 offensive and 9 defensive rebounds in addition to her 4 points. To solidify the lead for the Eagles in the fourth, Jasmin Martinez hit a pull up three pointer followed by a quick layup to add to her existing 2 points. 

The Eagles play next on Saturday at 5:00 PM aginst Goshen at the Lindner Fitness Center.
