Eagles Pick Up Victory On Senior Night

Elgin, IL - After two tough losses this week, the Eagles were able to rally together on Saturday night for a clean sweep victory over Warner on Senior Night. 

Prior to the game, the Eagles said thank you to three impactful seniors; Trevor Kozlowski, Aaron Stiegel, and Brody Solbrig. Each player has made a long-lasting impact on the JU program with their contributions. 

For the game, the Eagles were able to get it done, 25-19, 25-23, 25-22 over a game Warner team. In the second game, the Eagles needed a big rally to overtake the Royals. 

Elijah Gregg and Mason Snodgrass each had 9 kills. Elijah Wrobel had 29 assists. 

For the seniors, Kozlowski was able to add two kills, Solbrig had a kill and two blocks, and Stiegel was able to record a couple of digs. 

The Eagles finish the regular season 17-11. They will now turn their attention to the CCAC conference tournament where they are the #4 seed. 

On Tuesday night, they will get another crack at the Trinity Christian when they host the Trolls in round 1. 

Should JU win, they will turn their attention to the #1 seed, and ranked St. Xavier Cougars for a Friday night date in the semi-finals. 

The CCAC Conference finals will be played on Saturday afternoon.
