Eagles Win A Classic Over Crimson Wave

Elgin, IL - In a battle of two top teams in the CCAC Conference, the matchup lived up to the billing. The Eagles were able to take down the Crimson Wave in a back and forth, come from behind, five-set thriller.

With the victory, the Eagles are 15-7 overall, 4-1 in conference play, and 9-1 in their last 10 matches, all while riding a five game winning streak.

Judson has seven games remaining in the regular season with six and home, and five against conference foes. All while preparing for the CCAC conference tournament.

On this night, JU took game one 25-20 before dropping games two and three. In game four, the Eagles were able to surge ahead, winning 25-21.

The fifth set tie-breaker was a constant back and forth, tied on multiple occasions, and seeing the Eagles prevail 15-13 for the game, set, and match.

Mason Snodgrass led the way with 18 kills, Grant Shipley added 15. Shipley also tallied three of the teams four blocks.

Elijah Wrobel had 57 assists in the game. That total was one shy of the school record for assists in a game. Wrobel also added 14 digs.
