Eagles Cruise On Meaningful Night

Eagles Cruise On Meaningful Night

Elgin, IL - For the first time since the Eagle Classic a few weeks ago, the Eagles Mens' Volleyball Team was back home inside of the nest. On this night, it was a special one for this group of Eagles as they raised awareness for the fight against cancer. One of their own, Brendan Gibbons is currently battling leukemia.

Taking on the Clarke University Pride, and JU cruised to a three set victory. Each game ironically ended in the same 25-15 score. Judson has now currently riding a four-game winning streak.

It was a well-balanced attack as Elijah Gregg had 9 kills, while Mason Snodgrass and Grant Shipley added 8 kills each.

Jackson Otto led JU with 11 digs. The Eagles had 11 services aces on the night with both Trevor Kozlowski and Ramsey Vuorenmaa each having three.

It was another workmen type effort for Elijah Wrobel who had 28 assists.

Judson will now prepare for a three-match week next week with two games on their home court, and two games inside of the CCAC Conference.

Things all kick off on Tuesday March 19th with a home matchup against Calumet.
