Eagles Pick Up Win Number One

Elgin, IL - After a weekend of competing with three ranked teams in three days, the Judson Men's Volleyball Team found themselves back on the court Tuesday night against Illinois Tech. In this contest, the Eagles were able to come out on top, notching their first victory of the season. 

In four sets, JU took the match; 25-21, 16-25, 25-21, 25-21. 

Elijah Gregg led the way with 19 kills. Another strong showing came from Mason Snodgrass with 12 kills. Grant Shipley also contributed seven kills in the win. 

Pacing the Eagles was Elijah Wrobel with 43 assists, and 11 digs. 

Another difference in the game was Judson's strong net play. In the match, they had 17 blocks. Wrobel and senior Trevor Kozlowski each had five a piece. 

The Eagles will now pack their bags for a bit with their next two contests coming this weekend in Michigan before four games in the state of Indiana.
