Recapping The Season Awards For Men's Soccer

Elgin, IL - After the fall soccer season concluded, the CCAC Conference, NCCAA, and NAIA released their 2023 Fall Scholar Athlete selections. 

For the Eagles' Men's Soccer Team, they were led by senior captain Gabriel Trevisan. Majoring in Health Promotion & Performance, the team's goals and points leader compiled a GPA over 3.700, and named to all three lists. He is a three time recipient of the CCAC Conference recognition. Trevisan was also named to the CCAC First Team All Conference. 

In addition, Trevisan was also joined by teammates Martin Wainstein and Vitor Costa on the NCCAA North Central All-Regional First Team. 

Senior Vitor Costa was named to the CCAC Second Team All Conference. 

Junior Pablo Escobar was also named to all three lists. The Mathematics major is a two time recipient of the CCAC Conference recognition with a GPA over 3.600. 

Sophomore Ruben Ledesma was named to the CCAC Conference list. Majoring in Management, he tallied a GPA over 3.300. 

Finally, junior Cristobal Corral received recognition from the CCAC and the NCCAA. The accounting major posted a GPA over 3.400. 

This season the Eagles reached the semi-final round of the CCAC conference tournament. They also posted a notable shutout victory over NAIA #18 ranked Columbia (MO) back on October 11th.
