Eagles Blank Redhawks In Penultimate Home Game

Elgin, IL - With swirling winds around Dawson Field, it was the Eagles stout attack swirling around the Redhawks this afternoon. Judson controlled most of the pace en route to a 2-0 victory over conference opponent Indiana Northwest. With two games left, JU sits at 6-7-2, and 4-5-1 in CCAC play.

The Eagles had a goal in each half of the victory. In the first half, it was Inigo Capellan knocking in his fifth goal of the season.

In the second half, it was Ovidio Paez depositing his second goal of the season into the net. The goal was set up a excellent long, bending pass from Samuel Chavez

Goalie Gerardo Perez logged his third clean sheet of the season, with three saves today. It was a tough JU defense that really limited shots from IU-NW.

To put into context how much control the Eagles were in today, they outshot the Redhawks 31-6.

JU has two final games left in the regular season, with senior day coming next Saturday in the team's finale against Bellevue (NE).
