Eagles Pick Up Another Top 25

Rockford, IL - This past weekend the Judson Eagles had another strong showing as we competed at the Leatherneck Classic in Rockford, IL.

On the Men's Varsity side, we came away with a top 25 finish.  Led by Freshman Standout Woodley Dangerfield who averaged 200.5 on the weekend and had a 76% multipin percentage and 87% overall fill percentage.  Senior James Kontos averaged 196 on the weekend,

Grad Student Jason Claus averaged 188 and struck 50% of the time on the weekend.  Junior Eric Roberts had a nice high game of 254 on Saturday and struck 47% of the time on the weekend.

Senior Sebastian Beth was 96% on single pins and 88% on multipins on the weekend and Junior Phil Heuser struck 39% on the weekend.   

 

On the Men's JV1 side, we came away with an 8th place finish.  Led by Sophomore standout Caleb Vergona who averaged 195 on the weekend and was 87% on single pins and struck 47% of the time on the weekend.  

After a slow start Cameron Jablonski shot 277 game 3 and averaged 184 for the weekend and struck 50% of the time.  Junior Parker Morris averaged 180 on the weekend and was 86% on single pins. 

Freshman Noah Moreno averaged 178 on the weekend and was stellar on single pins at 88%!  Freshman Aiden Schwichow had a big last game of 222 and was amazing on single pins going 20/21 and 95%!  This team had a massive 4 game baker team set of 923 to get them into the top 10!

 

On the Men's JV2 side, we came away with a top 15 finish.  Led by Freshman standout Toby Wamsley who averaged 190 on the weekend with a high game of 229 and he struck 50% of the time on the weekend. 

Junior Adan Cabezudo had a breakout performance as he finished with a pair of 218 games to average 184 on the weekend.  Adan also was 85% on single pins. 

Senior Anthony Gutierrez averaged 180 and was 13/14 on single pins for 93%!  Senior Matthew Sipes had a high game of 204, and Junior Connor Richmond was 74% on single pins for the weekend!

 

To finish out the first half of the season we head to Addison, IL for the Warhawk Invitational on December 7-8!
